I grew up with a dad(whom I love dearly) that always said on Mother's Day "She's not my mother so I don't have to get her a gift" when talking about the mother of his children. A very true statement (the not my mother part). For me? This day is special. This day is about honor to my helpmate, my friend and my husband....and yes, he also happens to be the father of my children. I could not be more appreciative of thankful! Scott is a wonderful father, he is a blessing to the lives of our children and to me!
