Sarah worked all Saturday on strawberries for a wedding reception today. She called as I was driving back from Cookville and said, "mom, you're gonna be so jealous! I got to spend several hours with Mrs Shirley and Mrs Denise today! I wish you could have been here!" Me too! Two of my favorite friends working in the kitchen with Sarah? A recipe for success!
Today Shirley talked about how sweet Sarah was talking about Chelsea. She said that she had never heard anyone sister speak so well of a sister. It sure made me smile. I love my big girls so very much! They both have become some of my greatest blessings in this life! I have lived through their teenage years, through whining and hard-headedness, through ups and downs, but these two "turned out" so wonderfully. I tell people that God did wonders with them...and He did:)
So why is it about the time your kids turn out right, they leave home? lol:) Chelsea far away and Sarah just hard to find:) I am so thankful for the examples they set, the lives they live and the respect they have for others.
If these next six girls will stick with the "program" I will be one of the luckiest women on earth!!
