I sometimes seem to just go in circles. My every other week visiting with my guys in RTC seems to put me on the road every week. This week I had a family therapy session with Sam in Knoxville on Tuesday morning.
I was thankful Scott took my Horizon kiddos to FHU.
I left Monday and drove to Murfreesboro with my three little boys (Seth, Ryan and Daniel) to stay the night with Bill and Nancy. Tori Stayed with Sarah. I know Tori loved having her one on one big sister time:) I enjoyed so much getting to be with Scott's parents for the evening!
These two guys are my second set of "twins"...born one day apart! Hard to believe....they are as unique as thier appearances.
Scott's parents have a wonderful yard! Bill, Nancy and I sat in the yard and watched the boys play. I so enjoyed the peaceful time there:)
We got up early Tueday morning to drive to Maryville. I had an early family therapy session with Sam. Stuart met me and took the boys with him to play in gym at the church.
We ate pizza with Stuart's youth group and joined them for a movie.
We ate dinner at O'Charley's. Stuart treated me for my birhtday:)
After dinner we had to drive Sam back. Sam is not doing very well. It's such a hard thing! I wish I could say how much he enjoyed the day, that he was blessed by being with the boys. But, Sam is usually only concerned with Sam. Tuesday was no exception.
We drove back to the motel, the boys swam for along time....
After swimming, a movie and part of the Braves game we all went to Chilli's for molten cakes (yum) and drove Stuart back to the church to get his truck. It was such a joy to have that time with him. Although it did remind me of how much I miss him. He is just a few weeks away from being home....goodness the summer is flying by!!
We had a knock at our door after we got back to the motel. There in the hall was Stuart....this cake in hand.....a sweet card and a movie for me:) Gotta love this guy!!
I took the below pictures of birds at Scott's parents house. You can sit in the sunroom and watch the most beautiful birds. Well, you can watch them until my kids get close to the glass or go outside:)
I watched the hummingbird above go from bloom to bloom....fluttering around like I seemingly do:) The second picture below reminds me that even though some things do not happen often, even though we don't we them, they still happen..... The first time in my life I have seem a hummingbird sitting still......PEACE.
Happy Birthday! Great pictures :) Sorry Sam isn't doing well :(
