Today Jacob and I spent the day at Vanderbilt in the Digestive Disease Center. Jacob really does struggle with some yuck and we hope to see some improvements! It was long, but spent with a neat guy:) That is fun all by itself....even if it did involve more than 6 hours on the road!
Sarah held down the fort and did a great job with the kids here (only forgetting Tasha and Lita at tutoring and was a bit late!).
Sarah said one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time last night. I have to preface this with the fact that Sarah is very smart and perhaps too literal at times. She is an incredible chocolate covered strawberry maker but claims that is all she can make (anyone who can do what she does CAN cook....they just CHOOSE not too). So Sarah is not kitchen language friendly always....this was the conversation:
Sarah was telling me about a recipe for Peanut Butter Pie she wanted to make at Thanksgiving when she said, “Do you know what PET milk is?” I looked up kind of surprised, “Yes, It’s evaporated milk by the brand Pet.” She said, “Oh good, I thought it sounded like something really gross!”
ROFL!! I grew up in a "Pet milk" and "Eagle Brand Milk" era....pretty funny:) BTW..these are the wonderful berries Sarah made for Seth's birthday....Football berries!
