From the ashes a Phoenix arises and from difficult situations strength of character shines true.
This past week brought a difficult situation to our house(One only my biggies know about). But, as a mom (well truthfully just as a person!), I have seen some super neat behaviors from my "biggies".
I think among those has to be some real down to earth (right down from heaven) Biblical principles, the Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Goodness, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control kind of attitudes that really have me step back and be proud. I would be proud to see this kind of restraint in ANYone.
Even as the topic is talked about, even as it is understood (and the only way to understand it to do so with wisdom), they still make me proud.
Mom's need to see the thought process. Mom's need to see faith in action. Mom's need to know that their children think clearly, with GOD and His mercy in mind.
We talked some today about WHY it is important as Christians to be angry over sin. And why it is equally as important to never let that anger (even justifiable) provoke us to sin in exchange.
There are so many things in this life to be thankful for....today? As I type I am thankful that even from the ashes truth and goodness can arise....when one so CHOOSES:)
