Little Hearts

Little hearts are the best kind! I suppose we use the words "Bless their heart" in the South to mean just about anything:) But when you watch little boys play baseball the words are so very true! Sometimes you have boys whose hearts are just full of ball. Seth is one such little boy. He loves it! He loves the rules, he loves the teams, he loves the hitting and the catching, the running and you know he loves the sliding! I watch those little boys and I think, "Bless their hearts!" They love it so much! I hope they all can play as long as possible. There is just something pretty incredible about the excitement a boy feels when he really hits the ball, or the cheers a boy hears when he makes a great catch....and you know the reverse is truth too. There will be dropped balls, missed throws, outs stuck and games lost. But, in the heart of a boy who loves ball there is always another day and another game. Such is life!! What better place for a boy to begin to learn those great lessons!

Ball season has begun!



PS...this round at the bat? A home run for Seth! Moments of triumph....I love to be able to share those with my children:)
