No Lake of Joy:(

For the first time in almost 20 years Lake of Joy was cancelled. My kids would have been much sadder had we not picked everyone up from school and gone fishing. We fished, had a fire (with S'mores), sandwiches, drinks and lots of worms for fishing! We were able to be with our dear friends, Gail, Shelia, Andrea(and her sweet girls). It is always so neat to share special times with special people!

My kids seem to stay "stuck", well, someone is seemingly stuck all the time.
While I was taking pictures I got this one of Seth (stuck):
An hour or so later he was stuck again, yanking the rod around like crazy I told him to "stop" as I was walking toward him. He looked up in frustration and said, "Are you gonna take a picture of it or help?" I had to hold back a smile as I shouldered my camera and got him "unstuck". I do not have a picture of that...Seth is my "this is very serious mom!" look and tone.

Ms. Gail was a treat and the resident expert when it come to fishing! To say my kids love her might be a understatement:)
