Put me in the Zoo:)
I always loved that book. haha...good thing! We packed up our picnic lunch and headed to the Zoo in Memphis. It was such a beautiful day!! I am just being lazy and I will do a picture diary. We were there for more than 4 hours (that's just slightly less that an eternity with that many kids...lol). After the Zoo I sent girls (except Bella) with Sarah and Paden and took the boys (and Bella) with me. They headed toward home and I went North to pick-up Carlton in Millington. I made a loop and met Scott and the girls (who had switched cars with Sarah) in Henderson. Just a very long day...but a wonderful one!

Amanda, You do what I used to do with our 4--Put them all in the same color shirts. Except on the ship to Sweden this other little boy had on a red shirt nearly the same as mine were wearing and it would come and stand with ours. I would could head and I had 4 instead of 5! Don't know who he belonged to. But there he is in all pictures of stopping at Denmark and on the ship on to Gotenberg, Sweden.
ReplyDeleteAre those snow cones I see???????? Just last week we were told they didn't have those until summer! What in the world! Love all of the pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhen my children were little I always put htem in matching colors when traveling....I can just "count" us better that way:) I can't remember the last time I did that....but yesterday I took 3 little girls with us who were not mine. I decided I needed to be able to keep up with us more than usual....so blue it was:) I love your story. Once I went to the zoo and took my kids all in lime green and a school was there...all in lime green. It was the worst time I have ever had keeping up with "mine" :)
ReplyDeleteSandy I thought of what you said on your blog when we were getting these, and yes they were snow cones (but not like the ones they make in summer). I was waiting for lemonade when I realized they did have "ice cream" and these were Jolly Rancher Snow Cones (that came bagged like ice cream). Sorry you missed them. They were sold with the Dippin Dots...did they have Dippin Dots when you were there? We LOVED the Teton Trek. I decided next time we would have to bring extra clothes and play in the water:)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via the mega-family blogroll. I'm so glad I did!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and family.
