We are getting closer and closer to Christmas! Jacob opened his gift today. Alabama all the way. But, when I looked closely at the last picture? hum...I would venture to say Jacob is one CRAZZZZZZY Alabama fan:)

We LOVE mail!!
Yesterday the mail came and with it....YUMMY treats!!! My incredibly sweet sister-in-law Katie made (homemade) treats. The pictures just do not do justice to the depth and mass of yummies! Just the fact that we are still eating it today is some indication. With every bite came the words, "This is REALLY good!".
Yes Virgina, there is a Santa Claus...certainly a Mrs Claus and she lives way up North in the cold and snow:) Thank you Mrs Claus:)
Love and Learn Christmas Program
Caleb:)
I was so grateful to be able to go to Georgia and pick up my Caleb. My dad and step-mother, Clara Ruth, drove and it was an unusual treat to be able to spend that much time with them "alone". I was glad they (and Caleb) were able to be together too. Because of the security clearance Caleb has I cannot say much. But I can say I am so very very proud of this son of ours!!
I did not get to take my camera(as it had not arrived home from Montana yet) so I borrowed Sarah's(she needs a new one!). We were able to be at the graduation, bring him back to the motel, and drive home on Tuesday. We stopped Tuesday in Irondale and ate at the (former) Whistle Stop Cafe. It was the inspiration for the book (and later movie) Fried Green Tomatoes. We did eat fried green tomato's too:)
Arriving home? Joy! Hugs and helpers....
Caleb told Seth, "Here you can wear this, it has your name on it." Seth looked at Caleb funny and Caleb said, "Your name's Smotherman isn't it?" The "Oh yeah" expression was quick to hit Seth's face....cool things these big brothers of ours!
Christmas Chorus Program!
Rosie and Mercedez are both in the 8th grade Chorus. They love it! They love their director and so enjoy music:) Monday night (while I was in GA) the girls had their Christmas Program. I am so thankful to Dad (Scott),my big girls, friends and little brothers and sister who were such GREAT spectators!
Montana:)
Chelsea, Sarah and Nancy had such a great time in Montana! They were able to visit with Sarah's wonderful friends she met this summer, especially Mrs. Edie! I am so glad the girls were able to be with their Grandmother, you just can't ever replace those kinds of incredible memories!! I am also glad they are all safely home again:)
